Monster Rally produces music that is sampled-based tropical pop, Monster Rally began with the goal of assembling a bunch of old records into a completely different beast and began crafting tracks from his collection of records, combining  interests in Hip-hop, Exotica, Tropicalia, and Soul. Monster Rally creates tracks that manage to maintain a surprisingly organic sound, as if they were recorded by a full band on analog tape. There is something nostalgic about the sound.

Mank is the ambient/electronic project of ben powell, based in menai bridge, north wales, uk. Ben has been recording as mank since 1998 releasing ‘home made’ cd’s on his mankymusic label. Influenced by nature and maths the music is computer based, combining field recordings with real and virtual instruments.

 

 

Yosoyunotrotu is a collaboration of two artists: Quetzal Contla (mexico) & Krzysztof Polaczenko (poland). Quetzal wanted to make a organic connection of ambient and live instruments and invited Krzysztof to this project. idea was to make music with no boundaries – even this one drawed by the ocean. the whole event was hard and tricky – evolving process of finding right sounds and space, each track is a trip to a different place, often it’s an improvisation in a truly recorded area. The project was inspired by world music and jazz – notes of abandoned places.
